Welcome

baby-mainThank you for visiting the Mission of Mercy Malta Brazil website.

Here is a brief insight of the voluntary work that we do.

The word WE on this page mean all those who have ever contributed in anyway and it also include YOU, who might donate or make a link to your site or help in anyway and for this we thank you in advance.

Brief History

11 years ago Mr. Joseph Grima gave birth to the mission that has the worthy aim to alleviate the suffering of abandoned children in Brazil. Since that day Joseph lived for the mission and through his unvarying dedication and perseverance a Day Centre that caters for 200+ children. This Day centre provides daily meals (mostly rice), basic medication and education and just as important a sense of hope in the harsh world of the “Favelas”.

Gratitude

A big thank you will go to the young and generous man Jean Pierre Galea who offered to build this website to help us tell the world all about our work. This website will also make it easier for you to donate towards these forgotten children and more.

We equally take this opportunity to again say a big thank you to all the benefactors that over the years have supported the mission and urge them to maintain their support because had it not been for them non of this would exist and no children in the “favelas” would be praying for them.
